Make your necklace

Our macrame uses a series of more basic macrames: the square knot. Once you have prepared your hardware, follow the step-by-step photo tutorial below to plait your macramé DIY necklace. Just make sure that the pearls are the same thickness as your chain or pearls are slipping! The whitest material is cotton twine, and the off-white material is hemp rope. Recently, we shared a tutorial for some beautiful macrame wall art designs that you can incorporate into your home or office decor. We used a copper keychain for our center, but do not hesitate to choose another type of metal that better fits your style! While you are at your jewelry store, you can also choose small beads to add to your macramé weave. Macramé gives you total freedom to create unique pieces. To make this necklace, you will need a chain and jewels. We found our copper chain at our local jewelery store and then used a lobster clasp with two jump rings.
